Freedom Climb 2014 7 Summits -Colorado begins in 3 weeks

The goal of the Freedom Climb is to affect the lives of thousands of women and children each year. The purpose of the Freedom Climb is not just about climbing a mountain; it’s a way to engage in this global battle and strategically help these women and children. Climbing these mountains is merely a symbolic gesture of what women and children affected by slavery, exploitation and oppression around the world go through every single day.

It isn’t necessary to climb mountains to get involved! You can register for any event as a Virtual Freedom Climber and be a voice for the voiceless by raising funds and awareness. Anyone can do it! Let us help you get started!

A GREAT example of why we do what we do!!!

The Freedom Climb strategically focuses on three areas of intervention when battling modern day slavery, oppression, exploitation, and trafficking. All of the projects funded through the Freedom Climb are effective in the area of prevention, development, and/or rescue/rehabilitation. We believe that OM is uniquely gifted and strong in the area of prevention. An example of this came in from OM Philippines just recently. When the biggest child cyber sex scandal was discovered in Cebu, it happened in the very town where they have their children’s outreach and where they helped send 5 precious young girls to school. These young girls are now actively involved in outreaches helping other children get to know the Lord and teaching them how to stay away from this kind of destructive and dangerous activity. OM Philippines has sponsored these five scholars, whom FC is supporting. They are growing up as fine young girls, excelling in their studies. However, they easily could have been one of those victimized in cybersex in their neighborhood, if the OM team in the Philippines have not intervened.
What we are doing through Freedom Climb really makes the difference. What YOU can do will change the lives of many people too. Join us in this beautiful opportunity to bless women and children around the world and make God’s love known by them.

You too can Do Something

Lately, we see and hear more and more stories of precious children being abducted and sold into slavery. How do we sit by and do nothing? You may say what can I do? The problem is so huge! Each of us can do something!

In one month 72 women from 6 countries will be doing something in Colorado! They each paid all of their own expenses to climb. They committed to raising awareness and funds to help end slavery. They will climb 7 14,000 feet summits in 4 days! They have a goal of raising $500,000 to help end slavery and human trafficking.

You may not be able to climb, but you can definitely do something! Have you heard Mathew West’s song “Do Something”? Several of our climbers have made it their theme song.

Join us in our efforts to end slavery, human trafficking and oppression of women and children globally.

How?

Join our events or give to end slavery!
The 2014 Colorado Climb is fast-approaching on July 12-18, when our teams will summit 7 mountains – each over 14,000 ft. in elevation! Can you believe we have 72 women signed up, representing 6 different countries??

Help us count down to this incredible event and the impact it will have not only on our climbers, but on you as their supporters — and most powerfully — on women and children climbing their way to freedom out of abuse, oppression, slavery, and trafficking.

You are already making a life-changing difference for these women and children with the gifts you have made towards our $500,000 goal for the 7 Summits Climb. And any gift you can give today will mean even more women and children are reached with the hope of Jesus!
